All right already!

I have been way too busy with work to blog about much of anything, but I do check the H!P and JPOP news sites & blogs daily. Frankly I’m getting a bit fed up with the scandals lately. Miki’s scandal isn’t even a scandal! She’s 21 years old for chrissakes! Let the damn girl date!

Hopefully Momusu will release a new single here pretty quick, and hopefully it’ll be something kick ass, because lately I’m starting to feel that the glory days of Momusu are over.

Myojo October 2002

For a while my sister was a pretty big fan of Hideaki Takizawa. When her fandom fell away I somehow inherited all her idol magazines. Windfall for me, because several of them contained articles about my own later idol obsession, Morning Musume.

Following are scans from the October 2002 issue of Myojo. Why this issue, well it was the first one on the pile, that’s why. I broke my digital camera at Anime Boston and have yet to have it fixed, so for now, enjoy these scans.

More on Tsuji (EDITED)

Tsuji will be retiring from the idol business. I’m sad to see her go, but very happy for her that she’s getting married and starting a family.

The things is, I think the lack of scandal here is that UFA & Tsunku knew that she was dating. If they didn’t, I think there would have been a much stronger reaction from them than the “She’s planning to retire.” and from Tsunku’s comments he seems to fully support her.

So far from what I’ve read there’s been overwhelming support of Tsuji, her condition and her relationship. I am surprised though by the amount of comments I read about hardships Tsuji might experience in the future. If Kago’s salary description was true, Tsuji probably made the same, meaning if she was smart she saved and has boatloads of money that most young parents don’t start out with. She can afford to be a stay at home Mom and buy her kids the best.

Have you ever heard news that literally almost made you fall out of your chair? Like a classic anime faceplant? I just did. Apparently Tsuji’s recent illness is not a digestive tract problem at all.

She’s 2 months pregnant and is getting married to actor Sugiura Takayasu.

In reality I’m really excited for Tsuji and I hope everything goes well for her! Congratulations to her! I hope, as she’s moved under Tsunku’s label, that Gyaruru will still be able to continue, I really liked the sound of their first single.

Happy Graduation Yossie!

Well as of Sunday evening, Yoshizawa Hitomi, my favorite girl in the H!P line up will be graduating from my favorite group in the H!P line up, Morning Musume. To commemorate the event I decided to make some icons. It is also extremely late/early as it is going on 4am and I am damn exhausted. I may post more this weekend if I make them.

The best of luck to Yossie in all her future endeavors. I will continue to support you with all my heart. Words really cannot express how much I admire your strength, wit and beauty. You are everything I aspire to be. Thanks for everything! ♥ Much, much love!

Countdown to Graduation

I was lurking about on Hello!Online and decided to jump over to the pic board. There somebody had posted these just released photos of Hitomi with each of the girls in Momusu. She’ll be graduating to (hopefully) a successful solo career come Sunday, May 6. Hitomi! I already miss you! T_T
